Six Little Bunkers
This series started out with interior illustrations by R. Emmett Owen, switching over to Walter S. Rogers later on.
A special thanks to James Keeline for providing the authors who wrote this series under pseudonym. No big surprise that Howard R. Garis wrote the majority of the books in this series, as he was one of the most profilic children's authors of the early twentieth century:

2nd format
The only differences with this format is the dust jacket artwork, and the frontis illustrations were sometimes updated to color. It is possible that some of the illustrations were colorized in the 1st format, but I am not sure. The pastedown-illustration on the cover of the book itself is the same as the previous format.
The G&D omnibus
This is a very scarce book. Grosset & Dunlap did not produce many series book omnibuses (I can't think of any others from this time period off the top of my head). Around 1971, they did produce 3 omnibuses for Nandy Drew, The Hardy Boy and The Bobbsey Twins. This must have been in print for a VERY short amount of time, as I have only ever seen 1 copy in DJ (and that is the copy I own). I have only ever seen 1 other copy, and that one did not have a dust jacket.
