Bunny Brown and His Sister Sue
This successful series for the Syndicate, had new titles released from 1916-1931, for 20 titles total. The cover artwork was uniform for all titles, unfortunately, but was a nice illustration by Florence England Noseworthy. Many interior illustrations were by prolific illustrator, Walter S. Rogers, who worked in many Syndicate series', as well as many non-syndicate books.
The majority of the books were printed with a paste-down illustration (the same as the front cover), with blank endpapers. At the end of the series, books were printed (and others re-printed), with illustrated endpapers and a light blue cover, without the pastedown. Pictures will follow.
All scans below without a spine showing are courtesy of Jim McNamara. He has his own webpage of cover art and signatures which is worth checking out! Click on his name to go there. Without Jim, I would have forgotten to include this page at all! Much thanks to him. =)
