The unusual and one-of-a-kind
These are a rather unusual eBay find. They are (early) re-binds, which would typically have been for a library, but yet these were never used in a library. I'm guessing the dust jacket image was cut out, and pasted onto the new board cover.
Bobbsey Twins printing block
This is a very interesting item brought to my attention by Jim McNamara! It is a printing block, probably for a newspaper. Here's what James Keeline said:
"The gray-white metal means that it is a stereotype printing plate. Small ones like this were most often used for newspaper ads. The pressed paper molds were mailed out and the newspsper could use molten type metal (lead + tin + antimony) and then nail the metal to a wooden block to make it 'type high.'"

Misprints
(Bobbsey Twins books inside the wrong covers)
Fellow collector Kyle Hall has been kind enough to provide these pictures of books from his collection. In each case, a Bobbsey Twins text block was bound into a different cover (in this case, Dana Girls and Tom Swift. Fantastic finds!
Unofficial miniatures
There is a seller on eBay, (click on this text to be taken to their store) who produces these "dollhouse miniatures" of vintage games--and one they produce is The Bobbsey Twins.
This seller produces miniature books.
